Winter's tale

Just Chillin' Top:  Topshop c/o Lucy, Shorts: vintage, mulled wine: excellent

Bratwurst + fire pit = very happy Nicci

Far too much of a chicken to go on this!

I am a very big fan of christmas, but only once December is actually here, any celebrations in November
and October (!) are purely premature yulejaculations and I will have no part in it (except from maybe a
guilty listen to Mariah). So anyway, this Sunday Ed and I decided to fully embrace the festive season
and headed out to Hyde Park's Winter Wonderland. It was such a beautiful, but freezing, day and even though
it was pretty crazy busy, we just got ourselves some mulled wine and bratwurst and it was all good!

Perhaps a mulled wine too far?

As a festive treat, and because ice skating was sold out, we decided to go on the big wheel. The queue was pretty
long and as you can tell from the photo above, we got a little fidgety  The view was amazing once you got up there
though, you could see right across London. They also played Christmas songs in the pod and we got a pod all to
ourselves which was nice. It is a little pricey at £8 but you get to go round twice and it was just so pretty!

View from the queue

you can see Battersea power station in the distance
Ah London I love you

Afterwards we went home to finish decorating the tree and watched the cartoon version of the Grinch while
eating dinner. It's only the 3rd of December now, god knows how excited we'll be by christmas eve!!
Such children...
