Congratulations!!

Last weekend two of my favourite people got married!! Massive congratulations to the lovely Ben and Laura Cropley! (I'm still slightly disappointed they didn't go for the amalgamated version "Heathercrop" but I'll get over it...) They had a beautiful Mexican inspired wedding with loads of handmade touches. Here are a few snaps of the happy couple...

This is the first wedding I have attended of friends rather than family, and it was so much fun! They had a beautiful ceremony at the Guild Hall in Leicester, followed by a mexican knees up at the Crumblin Cookie just around the corner. They even managed to bag a mariachi band, beyond awesome!

The grooms and best man's bow ties were hand made by Laura out of Liberty print fabrics in mix and match prints.

Laura did all the decorating herself, with some help from friends and family, and the place just looked so beautiful. I've been following her Pinterest boards so had seen all the amazing inspirations she had pinned and she really translated all of that into the venue.

So many little personal touches really made the day special and carried the Mexican theme right the way through. The little maracas on the tables and huge sombreros were a personal favourite, and definitely encouraged ridiculous dancing to the Mariachi band, which is all you want from a wedding in my opinion!!

Huge thank you to Ben and Laura for inviting us to share your special day and wishing you a lifetime of happy days to come.
